Workshop Advice & Usage

As with all devices in the Pixel range delivered without a power adapter in the original box, make sure to recommend a USB Power Delivery (PD 3.0) certified wall adapter delivering a power output between 20W and 30W under a regulated voltage profile to the final customer. During workshop disassembly interventions (screen replacement or battery change), opening is done from the front face: it is essential to heat the outline of the OLED panel to a controlled temperature of 70°C to 80°C to soften the IP68 waterproof seal without risking damage to the capacitive display layer or the under-display fingerprint reader.
